What The Witch Who Made Me King is about

This is a court-intrigue story with a bargain at its center. A knight with no rightful claim has one week to take the throne, and the only help on offer comes from a witch out of the Blackwood.

Her price is the steamy part: power for him, his nights for her. Candy sells it as power, lust and betrayal, so expect a ticking clock, shifting loyalties and a throne that may not survive the week. All the characters are adults, and the tone sits closer to a dark fairy tale than a modern romance.
