What Sworn to the Queen is about

In this kingdom, a hand on the queen is a death sentence. So of course she chooses the lowest-born guard in the castle to stand watch outside her bedchamber.

Every night is a test of nerve: hers, for provoking him, and his, for refusing to flinch. It is a slow burn built on duty, risk and a ruler who enjoys playing with consequences. Candy tags it Fantasy and Taboo.

Who it's for

Sworn to the Queen on Candy Shorts is for readers who want castle intrigue and a power game rather than a modern romance. Sworn to the Queen on Candy AI suits anyone who likes the person wearing the crown to do the teasing. It is part of our fantasy collection. Candy does not publish a lead character for it.

Court rules do the heavy lifting here: the danger is built into the setting, so the flirting always has a price. If you like crowns and danger, Claimed by the Dragon Queen offers another royal fantasy with a commanding woman at the center.
