What Forgive Me, Father is about

A small-town church gets a new priest, and a grown woman from the congregation takes a very personal interest in him. He knows what his vows say. He also knows what he feels.

The story is the slow slide from resisting to giving in, with a secret affair that could cost him the whole flock if it gets out. The series sits on that tightrope between sermon and secret, and every glance across the pews makes the secret a little heavier.
