What British Summer with My Stepbro is about

Mona and her stepbrother, both adults, are sent to spend a summer with a proper old-money British family in Kent. Everything in the household is ordered, polite and in its place. Then Mona's feelings for him start to run hot, cold and hot again.

That push-and-pull is the engine of the series. The house is built on manners, and a crush between two step-siblings is exactly the kind of thing it was never designed to survive. Expect sly looks, near-misses and chaos wearing a polite smile, with Mona rarely sure what she wants and her stepbrother rarely sure what to say.

Who it's for

It suits readers who like stepsister stories with a slow-burn, will-they-won't-they rhythm and a dash of Britain. The series lives in our stepsister collection as a standard Candy AI title, so the first episode costs nothing. Mona Newman is the lead AI character. The chat that Candy offers after an episode is a good way to keep the story going.

If you want more Mona, Mona's Obsession is another standard Candy Shorts series where Episode 1 plays for guests.

Chat with the cast

After the episode, Candy lets you keep the story going in a private chat with the lead character. The character is AI-generated and an adult.
